"The Little Soul and the Red Dress"
Read a book at a bakery?
I am inviting you to come to Ceres Bakery and enjoy reviewing the first draft of a book as it is being written. On exhibit, will be over 50 pen and ink illustrations of a book entitled, "The Little Soul and the Red Dress". The book is being written during the exhibit.
Each week I display 13 pages of the book on the bakery walls. The artwork was created in my twenties and the writing in my, well, right now. It is a collaboration between the same writer and artist separated by twenty years.
It's really a lot of fun making a book this way. I am rewriting every day and I am only up to page 46 as of Juanuary 19. I don't know the ending yet, but I do know you can read it on a Ceres Bakery wall in early February.
The exhibit runs from January 7, thru February 6 at Ceres Bakery, 51 Penhallow St., Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Hours 7AM-5PM Monday thru Saturday.
